Join this progressive multi-national company at their greater Cincinnati headquarters as their Quality Assurance Engineer I. You will be responsible for the development and execution of manual and automated tests to ensure the highest possible product quality. The QA Engineer/Tester will work within a small team comprised of QA Testers and Development in a fast-paced, challenging, and growing environment to implement and execute test strategies. This position is responsible for the verification and validation of the company's web-based products, and works closely with the Product Development Team, Product Support Manager, Client Development Team, and other QA Engineers. You will design, develop, and execute test cases using test plans and functional specifications; participate in all phases of the test cycle, including Integration/System Testing, Performance Testing, Regression Testing, User Acceptance Testing, etc. You will need a HS diploma (BS in CS or IT preferred) + 1-2 years software testing experience in a professional software development environment; work experience in Mercury test tools including Quick Test Professional and Quality Center; experience in testing client server and/or web-based application software; knowledge of HTML, XML and VB script required. Understanding of SQL and Oracle databases is a plus.
A very successful manufacturing organization has a role for a Sr. Analyst/Developer at their Cincinnati manufacturing location. You will manage their AS400, Mapics, and associated hardware/software. You will develop reports and modify Mapics using RPG and maintain and modify current AS400 COBOL applications. You will need a BS in CS + 5 yrs. development experience with RPG and Cobol in the AS400 environment.
